Berney, don't forget the immanent security of SAP.

"I always get frustrated by something like SAP, as I (almost) always try to go out and check the news to ensure that the sell-off is simply "normal" market reaction. Again, I'm always suspect of analyst "statements" during the company's quiet period. There are few Big Boyz stocks that are not 30% over-valued -- so what!"

- This Oracle-statement is as weakminded as this bank-calculation. SAP has REALLY no competition, if at all it's competition from Netherlands (Baan BV). Oracle is facing the end of his history, and during this state companies like Novell or NetScape gave similar desperate "last words" in the air - Oracle has lost his market in databases and did never have a real market in that segment SAP is supplying - maybe they don't even know that, they really are too oldfashioned. Buy them a Dylan-record and a ananas-pizza, that's what they know since 20 years.

- Security. I mean a position where a company grows stronger than his small competition (in percent!), combined with the fact, that the market is not yet covered, gives a kind of security even Dell cannot make sure. Therefor a higher-than-usual valuation is OK - not only for me, I'm not the only one shareholder... A small bonus could also be added by the fact, that SAP is resident in a very stabil environment - in Germany.

For me, SAP was a great buying-opp yesterday @ 46, it is a huge opp @ 42 and if we should see better prices tomorrow, sell what you can and buy SAP - without disclaimers, Berney.
