Conversation with Michael Sheppard - President, COO and Director and Maura Marx - Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing which took place on September 19th, 1998. Q: How many possible clients have you been in contact with? A: 100's via unsolicited & solicited, trade shows, etc, 75% of those loved our product and requested presentation, more info. Clients are from broker-dealer, financial and pharmaceutics areas. One of the pharmaceutics client who just signed up yesterday spends very large funds on training and that is where FNTN can help. Q: Is there any chance that you sign some contracts this calendar year? A: (Strong)Yes. Q: In what areas are those clients. A: Around the country, concentrated in East Coast, NYC, Baltimore,. In Europe we are doing research, basically identifying countries. Europe opened up for competition to telecommunication industry from abroad but the initial rush of big companies failed and now the smaller more flexible companies have there chance and that is where FNTN comes in. Q: What about SIEMENS? A: As far as SIEMENS they will be big help in Europe. We're their first U.S. company and they want to use us for market penetration in the states. SIEMENS will have PR with FNTN in it this calendar year. Q: Do you know what kind of coverage Atlanta show will have? And are individual investors welcome at the Omni on 8, 9 ,10 of Oct? A: Look at sia.com . The conference is for Financial industry only but open to everyone. Participants have to pay over thousand dollars for session(s) and 80% of (session) participants are directly responsible for signing purchases. This conference can generates business for FNTN in 60 days. The main reason SIEMENS invited us is because their direct competitor is Sun Microsystems, who will attend this conference. Q: Employee count. W-2, 1099, and paid consultants. A: We have 7 employees. The rest is consultants, technical work is outsourced except one web developer we employ. Q: There was to be forthcoming PR when market conditions improved but non has been released yet. A: That was somewhat misunderstanding. When MS had conversation with someone a while ago, he was commenting in general how PR's work and not to the upcoming PR's. FNTN does not generally time PR's, they'll be released as events happen. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Q: How do your clients pay for the FNTN service? A: It's not via fixed amount, they pay the same way the phone connection work. For example the moment user clicks on an Icon the charges start to accumulate while the service is used. Q: Is the PR about Intranet going to have just one customer or more. A: More then one. Q: Anything else you would like to mention to investors? A: BB stocks are high risk, investors have to look at long term investments in our company. Another customer who singed up yesterday manages mutual funds and they said when stock drops 15% we sell it. Well, this is not the way to invest in companies on BB, you have to go long. The founder B. Barry Stein thinks this is the best idea he ever had. The company started in Feb 97, all of 97 was development, in 98 we tested the whole system. We have also worked on marketing & sales and audit. FNTN has small lose and virtually no debt and low burn rate. Financially FNTN is managed very carefully so we don't have debts and that's why we outsource some of the work. Originally we started in financial communications but now we work everywhere, since the concept is the same. Q: What is the status of the advanced charting being worked on Monday A: Next week you see major change on our web site. In closing: ME: Thank you Michael and Maura for you time, with your permission I would like to post the context of our conversation on SI and Ranging Bull. MS & MM: That's fine, also I'm (MS) trying to answer e-mails and voice mails early morning at 5AM but can not do it all, especially since many questions are repeated. We would like to answer them all but have only limited time so please don't be disappointed when you don't always hear from us right away. DISCLOSURE: The context of the conversation of the above are not the exact words but rather I wrote them from notes and my memory of this phone conference to the best of my recollection and accuracy. I do not take any responsibility for incorrect information but will post any corrections if I become aware of inaccuracies.
