Paul, RE:<<Here's the Wall Street Journal Article on Flip Flop Tom from last
August.>>

That article is about Micron. What, pray tell, does that have to do with Intel? Do yu know the difference between the DRAM market and microprocessors?

I have no emotional reaction to Mr. Kurlak at all. Emotion has no business in the decision making process. Mr. Kurlak is a source of data, nothing more, nothing less.

Paul,
To add more grist for the mill.
This morning CNBC reported a Merryll Lynch's analyst, (un-named), increased earnings estimates on AMD. AMD is currently up 1+ on a day when the DOW is down over 200 points, (INTC is down 1 3/4). Can any one tell me how Tom Kurlak could have told us earlier this week of continuing troubles with Intel's low end inventory and than a couple of days latter increase AMD's earnings estimates?

Does anyone know if ML is planning any investment banking functions for AMD in the near future? I'm guessing we are soon going to see a secondary issue of new stock from AMD, or another new AMD bond issue, with ML on the prospectus cover.
Regards,
Jules
