IBM also selling its NetObject's stake

IBM seems to be shedding its non-core assets and raising cash . Now its Netobjects :

" IBM (IBM) is looking for investment bankers to help
take its affiliate NetObjects public, despite the tumult in
the stock market and the spate of companies delaying
plans for initial public offerings.

IBM last year took a majority stake in NetObjects,
which creates software for Web-site building and
publishing. IBM's stake is about $100 million "

By comparison to the $4 - $5 bln IBM will get for IGN this is small in dollars . Strange .
