You are correct. The DIXON - 256K L2 cache Pentium II - is a winner !

But, Intel has several tricks up their sleeve that weren't discussed at the IDF.

As for Katmai, it is being shrunk to 0.18 microns and an L2 cache is being added - Coppermine.

It will blow away Dixon.

The question for you is - what will it do to AMD?
