I finally agree with you. I too am ashamed to call you a Canadian.

Michael, normally I try to ignore your posts because I think you are shorting the stock and I don't need or want the conflict, but today I just have to comment.

Why don't you move if you think Canada is so bad?

Do you think the US (for starters) is all roses and free from problems and/or corruption? Geez, the very top politician has just been caught LYING to his people and the whole world for months! ...AND HE IS STILL RUNNING THE COUNTRY!!! ...HELLO! Don't you wonder what else he is capable of doing or has done?

I love many parts of the US, have travelled quite extensively throughout much of it, worked for a US-based firm at one time, and have met many, many FANTASTIC people, but fact is people are people wherever you go, and life is pretty damn good in Canada for most of us so I hate to see you imply differently to anyone reading this forum from another country.

Also if you exclude the US, where else in the whole world do you think you can go to escape the mess mankind has created in so many countries (like Indonesia for example, where 1 in 4 will live in poverty by the end of this year)?

Fact is, 2/3 of the world is starving and/or fighting while we eat (in excessive luxury) at least 3 square meals a day (in peace) and I feel damn fortunate to be living in Canada right now.

As another Canadian, Michael, I have to ask that you at least get the facts right. Howe Street (home of the VSE) is not home turf for Bre-x. Bre-x was originally listed on the Alberta Exchange, with a subsequent cross-listing on the TSE. Bre-x never traded on the VSE. It is exactly this sort of plain wrong information that confuses investors and causes them to avoid the VSE when in fact there is just as much monkey business taking place on the NASDAQ BB as anywhere else (we Canadians just don't hear about it as much).

If this is the quality of your research, I have to conclude that you probably did not get a "Canadian" education. Come to think of it, that would probably also explain much of the inaccuracy and distortions of the truth that you have been slinging around this thread for the past while.

By the way, for all those non-Canadian readers out there, Michael's political and social commentary is as far off base as his is his knowledge of the Bre-x situation. This guy has absolutely nothing of interest to contribute to this thread.

Grant.
