OT -- Re Options

I am going to answer this quickly, but you should realy be asking this in the Art of Investment thread. It was cross posted.

There are two possibilities. (a) they are lumping it with ATT as a merger expense (b) What is realy taking place by the company is buying the call from her; excersizing it in the market (i.e selling the share); and "buying back" the share just sold all wrapped into one operation. Trust me; the option scenario I presented is very real and very common.
