Some of those upticks have been short covering. And I
seem to remember a few days where the last hour was
down 100, down 200. Several large funds do their
portfolio squaring in the last hour. Someday, one can
only hope<g>, it'll be sales, not purchase and the closes will
be lower and lower and lower.
Statistically the last hour balances out over time.

I know what you're saying, Tip, but unfortunately
the day one bets on the last 30 minutes as a
guaranteed up, is the day one loses a lot of money.<g>
