Unfortunately, I'll have to show my ignorance and admit that I do not follow the BKX at all. To my knowledge, it is not a P&F indicator. The NYSE Bullish Percent did reverse up and that is a bullish indicator, but it doesn't mean that the market won't have lower days, just as when the NYSE BP turned negative, didn't mean that there would not be higher days. But it does indicate that the general trend should continue to be positive. I recommend reading some of Jan's (P&F-Madness) posts as she is significantly more knowledgeable than I and she is always happy to answer questions.

If you go back to posts that I made on the P&F thread earlier this week, you will see that my interpretation of the market very closely followed some of the views on the TSO thread and were a little less bullish than others until the NYSE BP reversed up.

Dennis,
Just looked at my message list and figured you wouldn't want to wade through all my messages just to find the messages that I was referring to. Again this is in reference to my P&F view of the market. Obviously some are more bullish than I and you will be able to see this in the responses.
