>yeah but what about the children? There were 7 children involved in the Hyde saga, only one in the Clinton episode, and thats if you count Chelsea who is also probably a legal adult by now, I dont know if shes 18 yet... freshman at Stanford is 17 I think.<

This is irrelevant to the basis upon which Salon claims to have published the Hyde story. They claim to have done it because they have a moral or logical right to do so, given them because of the Clinton revelations. This is not true.

From my admitted limited perspective, Hyde appears a man who has made a mistake, repented of it, and one who has not publicly excoriated anyone on morality, no doubt because of an understanding of his own moral failings (not so, Burton and Chenowith). If I am correct, then I really do not think Hyde should have been attacked. Indeed, in his heart-of-hearts, he may have been somewhat of an ally to Clinton in that his failings may have influenced him toward greater fairness.

But now I could well understand his becoming extraordinarily partisan, making this matter as bloody for Clinton as possible.
