Hi Folks! I discussed the NR with Marum president Rick Boulay yesterday, including reference to subsequent comments made on SI. I shall relay the valued information here (valued, as in, I am thankful he took the time to expand on the info for me), for shareholders, with his acknowledgement. Rick Boulay explained that the Marum/Micrex release was not a news release per se, but more of a project update by the operator, MMU, which both companies [MMU, MIX] decided to make public in the spirit of full disclosure. Notwithstanding this, Mr. Boulay continued, the update did contain something very important and some very new information. That is,Samples of basal tills and thoroughly weathered rock below basal tills contain abundant black shards and twists of locally derived black volcanic melt glass which contain high concentrations of iron, magnesium, chrome and, in some cases, nickel hotspots. Geochemistry and electron microscopy suggests that these grains are condensation products from mafic to ultramafic, possibly kimberlitic, volcanoes. Mr. Boulay expressed that he didn't go into great detail in the news update, but that although Marum has reported shards of glass before, they have never announced the "twists" which are things you would expect to find on a glass blower's floor. More importantly, Marum has never before announced any geochemistry from glass particles. This is very significant because they can be interpreted to represent the first really incontrovertible physical evidence of ultramafic vulcanism near the sample locations. It is a very significant find, but one which is not likely to be appreciated by the average investor. Mr. Boulay finished the discussion by saying that Marum tries to keep their shareholders informed of progress even if it's not a home run. Some companies err the other way by not releasing enough into. You can't make everybody happy. - - - - - I myself appreciate it! This is a refreshing outlook. There are too many publicly held companies that keep their shareholders in the dark-- I know, I own/ have owned shares in several of them! ;{ Some exciting info reported here. Best of luck, folks! Buenos Dias, -j :>
