The House leadership disagrees. They have passed the matter on to the FBI, who is investigating it as an attempt to interfere with the workings of Congress. Apparently that is a federal crime.

So congress wants to use the FBI to prevent details of their private lives from leaking out. Even Clinton did not do this...

I see sexual armagedon headed our way.

I wonder if congress would use the FBI to keep the news media from printing details of their personal lives. Would they use the FBI to prevent citizens from discussing our publicizing the facts of their personal lives?

They are after all public figures.
