B&H - have you ever wondered if there's a 'cycle' of technology products.... some products leading others in growth spurts and economic advances. And if the "PC comeback" is a leading signal for a revival of the bull.

I'm sitting wondering which products propel the others. I'm thinking the sequence might be: PCs, Semi's, Software, Internet, Networks. The desire and use of PCs propel the rest of the industry, and this seems to be a continuous, perpetuating cycle as more and more commercial and private sectors develop demand. [On the otherhand, maybe the internet should be the first item.]

Wonder if any studies have been done on this.

Anyway, good article from MarketWatch on PC comeback.
