That's a lot of questions Phil. I'll answer them tomorrow when I'm conscious. First question though, is I have just returned to Vancouver from Ulaanbaatar via Beijing. Two hours at UB airport (international flight) 1 hour 55 minute flight to Beijing. Two hour 35 minute wait in Beijing, and then 10.5 hour direct flight to Vancouver. Not too bad really.

To the additional questions that I can answer.

MGR, Bumbat, and MAC are all separate entities in Mongolia, with separate offices, and separate staff. Bumbat has a contract security firm at the mill site, and a full time Deputy Director General, and Bumbat site manager. In addition, there are currently part time positions that were full time during operations, such as accounting. Bumbat has some equipment operators for some of their equipment which is currently out on lease. Each company (MGR, MAC, Bumbat) has their own vehicles.

MGR has four full time employees in Mongolia.

MGR has four active joint ventures in addition to Bumbat. Some of my time was spent reviewing these project including accounting, management, and geology, and planning future programs.

There are some general matters I attended to, including meeting with both local and foreign companies to discuss Mongolian policies and laws, proposed policies and laws, and to discuss various responses to these policies. In addition, the first annual general meeting of the Canada-Mongolia Business Association was held to vote on a number of issues. MGR is a founding member of this organization, and I am currently the Chairman.

The Mongolian Minister of Foreign Affairs is coming to Canada later this month, on his way to the US to the United Nations. This is an opportunity to get involved and enhance business relations.

Much of what goes on in Mongolia has little to do with technical aspects of the mining business, but is perhaps even more important than discovering and developing a mineral deposit. Keeps us hopping.
