They would also all risk going to prison, bankrupting the firm, and clsoing it down.

Now of course weird things happen, but those guys make too much money to try something like that.

Hi Tommaso, I am not disagreeing with entire your post but I do disagree with the last sentence.

IMHO If they thought they could do it they would and I can guarantee you they are not worried about going to jail. They have already been shown that the SEC will not put them in jail nor fine them so heavily that it would stop them.

i.e. The fines levied against them and other back the latter part of 97.
