Actually if its a bb, and they are selling (shorting) naked, your only hope is to have the certs and hope they oversell the float and you have enough certs to go above that. THEN IT SHOULD, IN THEORY BE A MAD SCRAMBLE TO COVER :-) Cash account would help if you were dealing with real markets, not otc. Not sure if you were talking about all of the markets or what.
