I didn't see either the CNNfn or CNBC interviews, but from the reports of them on this thread, it sounds like LU and ASND are negotiating through the media. Asnd is saying to LU, " make us a good offer and we'll probably bite". LU is saying to Asnd, "we're interested, but we're not going to offer or pay a price that we think may be too high."

Rumors on the LU thread about a possible CS aquisition...which of course would probably, at a minimum delay an ASND acq.
