I suggested to Ian that we have our next New York
City get-together at the world-famous Katz's Deli on
Houston Street!

We'll have to do it soon. I'm leaving for San Francisco on the 28th. I'll be gone for a month while I'm setting up WorldBoard, Inc.

Good choice Soup. Katz's was founded in 1888 when the Lower East Side was a slum populated by Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe. It's still owned by the Katz family. On the wall there's even a photograph of Harry Houdini shaking hands with the original Mr. Katz (Houdini was a regular). Occasionally, along with the pastrami you ordered, they'll give you two beers instead of the one you asked for.

"What, you only ordered one? Speak up next time! Just take it and don't tell nobody. Next!"

I love tradition.

<<Katz's Deli on Houston Street! >>

Are they the kind of deli that serves those mile-high sandwiches?
