I can't believe the blackmail going on by the states. FLA just got another $1.7 Bln and more ad restrictions from tobacco. I must say, I agree with DK's grand strategy he announced in "Part 3" of his post. I don't like the way the states', who willingly sold tobacco products in some cases, and collected taxes in every case is suing the industry. I just hate it!

Anyway, I think shorting some of those puts may be a good idea md1, now that I've learned a little more on options. However, I'm looking at the 40s as a safer bet. I am not totally confident MO will hold this level without a firm announcement of a settlement... That seems to be what everyone wants.

As for the Florida $500 Bln case, I sure hope the judge realizes the sheer absurdity of the case, and heeds the judgements made in other courts around the nation, and the decision that went against the FDA.
