Nick,

Not too crazy a theory. Why would LU buy right away ? There are no other imminent buyers out there and LU can play the waiting game and drive the price down. If there were any other buyers, they wouldn't have waited this long to make a play.

What happens to ASND stock if LU buys NN instead ???

Cheers,

Peppe

Wrong, they owe it to the stockholders to make it on their own if they aren't bought at >60.

Dear Nick,

No offense but your comments are pure and simply wrong. And I don't believe Tim Luke would concur with your thoughts either. Tim is a day trader and bets on day to day market swings as a whole. Tim is praying for ASND to fall back to the 30's (won't happen), so he can swoop up a great opportunity to flip it.

ASND will have strong numbers for the quarter, as well as, announce several new and key contracts for service deals. Your logic is without common sense. If LU waits on a deal to buy ASND at a lower price, as you suggest, then they risk ASND moving much higher as well. Most analysts worth a grain of salt have ASND price targeted in the 60's within 3-6 months. If LU waits it may cost them upwards of 2-3 additional billion's of dollars to buy ASND. LU will bid ASND in early October, ASND will whine, but ultimately give in.

Nick my friend, you will soon be the owner of LU shares...bank on it.

Regards,

Jamie
