Don: FWIW I am just learning since I joined SI 3 months ago, so I am a long way from the vast knowledge of a lot of posters on SI. I think I may have discovered something important purely by accident, that I feel is disturbing. Hopefully someone on this thread can give me some help in a better understanding of TA! I was looking at charts on Dow stocks to look for entry in case this market turns. I found 1 stock that is in both a short and long term uptrend JNJ. I found 24 that are either at short term resistance or have bounced down from it and the upper BB! The other 5 have longer term overhead resistance,MO,DD,MRK,ALD,AA. like I said I am new so I may be missing something. The thing that bothers me more than anything else is the RSI points down, and is the higher to mid range on all stocks except 1. The only stock with RSI around 30 is DIS. I used www.askresearch.com and 10 for the BB and 14 for RSI. Dennis
