Folks, I just got the Nutraceutical News article off of PRLN's web site. You might want to visit it. If you click on "PRLN in the News" you will see a lengthy article by Colin Campbell and Bernie Landes. I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but I'm sure it will provide very informative and pleasureable reading over the weekend. I really liked what I read in the Nutraceutical News article.

Interesting article. There have may a few attacks in the media, current one after NE J of Medicine study attacking alternative and supplement/herbal treatments. In addition to the issue of intended biological activity of supplements the NE J Med points out problems of harmful fillers and additives adding toxicity to herbal, etc, tablets. Since PRLN has the technology to determine toxicity of many things this should also be something examined in the BioFit analysis. And this is exactly what the supplement field needs, at this point, for quality in both of these respects to be certified. Especially since it does appear, from recent escalation of attacks, that the AMA, etc., is making a concerted effort against supplements/alternative treatments, etc.
