A) Majority of world population lives in warm/hot weather Asia Latin America and Africa. Not much soup consume when is 90F

It snows in Kilmanjaro in June,, snows in Riyadh in December and frigging cold... Japan to most of China has bitter cold and snows in winter,, even in warm tropics like Indonesia,,Thailand ,, Malaysia.. and southern India ,,people drink hot and spicy soup all year around,,whether 100 F or not,, even there people say cold in the evening ,,when it's 65F outside,, it's a relative thing .. South America,, when we are in summer they are in winter,, one of the best skiing is done in Chile.. Brazil gets very cold ,, so does Australia and new Zealand.. also good skiing ,,

B) Decline in population in colder countries where most of soup is consumed.

Hmmmmmm ,,,,,, you mean like Sweden to Germany or Anchorage , Alska,,

C) They are trying to get bigger in restaurant, etc. but these markets have lots of competitors. (ie Heinz) No one is going to pay premium for a clam chouder.

Agree ,, now every mom and pop makes gourmet soups ..

D) the new gimic of soup away from home sucks.

It is a ruse,, a marketing gimic,, that is very transparent,,

E) they spin off the crapp Vlassic, etc. Nothing else to give.
Long term CPB is downer.

Due to competition,, dollar,, and over seas market weakness ,, their revenue will fall..

;-)
