....should HSBC drop to $100 while China TeleCom is pushed to $20, then the Chinese parties can easily control the HK market, since the weighting on China TeleCom will be higher than that of HSBC under the new market capitalization. This is not a difficult task to achieve, since the Chinese parties have already held more than 80% of the stake in China TeleCom.
