Sure, you are right that G,R&S were trying to scare the House to cough up for the IMF. Because they are scared and think it better to admit that (despite scaring markets) than not get the money for the edges. But certainly not to bail out Soros. That is rather absurd. They could care less about the George. They are trying to prevent cascading financial collapse, beginning at the periphery, which the center may no longer be able to sustain, if it really gets going. If you don't think there is some risk of that, I think you haven't been paying too much attention. You know. Shadows of 1929.

(Soros' blink spot for E.Europe and Russia aside, he MAKES money from these currency collapses which G,R&S are trying to stem. Soros simply gets on the side of momentum and places big bets when he doesn't see much but hope holding up the other side.)

Attributing corrupt motives even to G,R & S is taking cynicism rather far, isn't it Chaz? It's one thing to say they are doing it wrong, and haven't got the right approach. But corrupt motives?
