NKE.. closed at 33 3/4 now ask is 36. NKE was included in the earnings plays newsletter for the possibility that it's earnings loss would be LESS than analysts' anticipated. That is exactly what happened. This is an example that you should look at some of the other ones that I indicated were "low earners". We had an especially hot one in yesterday's watch list that hit big time yesterday and reports this Monday! It was the #1 pick from the small stocks list.

On the other hand if any one of these like ABTE trend downwards before earnings (NKE was up) it could be assumed their downtrend would continue or at least provide for a good short/puts the entire trading session that they are down and perhaps the next day as well.

TWICK, vntv would be a questionable play .This is not a
sound company. They have had key management people leave
recently and their philosophy over how to position
themselves vs. SEBL is what buried them. They were a
takeover candidate and rumors abounded that ORCL or SAP
would take them over but it did not happen. Now if a
company like ORCL, who is desperate to enter the
front-office market, passed, what does that say about
VNTV? Read their SI thread from the past six weeks or so
and see what you think.
