<per Bloomberg Info. News...VP at Netscape says that PCs are like cell phones and will soon be free in return for signing up for internet service>

Please say it's not so. Their goes my only hope in this volital market. CPQ has held up fairly well. We don't need this Bozo from Netscape to say this! Perhaps that is his only recourse to stay competitive with MSFT!

El,
I wouldn't hold my breath for a free PC to sign up on AOL. I do think computers will become a house hold appliance on the lower level. I think most cars have computers in them at this point. People carry computers in their pockets or brief cases to hold address files and calendars. I use a small Franklin computer for a dictionary at work. Many sewing machines have computer in them. It's amazing where computers exist that people don't think about.
