Steve,

Such harsh words! I can understand your anger, but just like a lot of people discussing this issue, you are taking it a lot further than it needs to go.

I also retired from the United States Military (Army) a few years ago and one of my sons is currently serving in the AF, so I can identify with your distaste. I feel that no one man can destroy what millions have built. Additionally we have had Generals that have done things far more reprehensible than ole Bill. Yet we serve OUR NATION anyway. We do not serve the Commander in Chief, we serve this great Nation, which believes in every man having his (or her) day in court.

Let the process do what it was intended to do (ascertain innocence or guilt) with all the facts if and when they all come in. Let us not stoop to the level of the media and prejudge based on hearsay and rumor. The only thing that can be considered as fact to date is that the President did have a inappropriate relationship with the intern. Bill has admitted that, but everything else is mere hearsay. That obviously disturbed young woman has said quite a bit, but how much of it is factual?

In the end IF Mr. Clinton has committed high crimes against the American people, he WILL be punished. IF he is thrown out, the next man (or woman) will step up and we (the Nation) will continue to strive for the American Dream!

Please, No "Hari Kari". It is truly not that severe. . .
