*AV*--Give me a buzz anytime you want Patrick. I wasn't home last weekend anyway. The two Rugrats convinced my wife and I to take them and 2 friends camping in Fairplay, CO for the weekend. We camped, got on each others nerves, roasted marshmallows, got smokey by the fires, and did MT. Sherman. We musta been braindead.

MT Sherman - if we weren't already braindead, this certainly accomplished that task. I think half of my cranial brain cells and most of my brain stem asphyxiated from lack of oxygen. The little 6 hour hike up to the 14,039 peak of MT Sherman was an exercise in stupidity. At 13K feet you are no longer breathing but gasping for air in a vacuum. At 13.7K your head tries to expode on you. At 14K feet you know 2 things: there ain't no way you will ever get down the mountain and there ain't no way you will ever feel any worse in your life than from the case of altitude sickness we (the old fart and his wife) developed.

Gimme a call when you feel up to it. As for me, I am trying to regenerate brain cells.

Andrew
