jach,

It's possible but IMHO very remote. With Cisco's current product mix they are maintaining much higher margins across their product lines.

Gary has made some good points and I pretty much concur there. Cisco has been doing good groundwork in Asia and whenever this world economy mess bottoms they will be in a good position to profit on the next upward cycle.

The cash cow for Cisco is the North American and European markets. The rest of the world can't afford to build-out it's infrastructure but if they don't they won't be able to join the party. Sort of a perplexing situation for them.

Having played the markets for a number of years IMHO we are getting close to the bottom in the world markets. We should know in the next year if my hunch is correct.

There are so many bargains out there, I feel like Warren Buffett getting ready to pounce!

regards,

Eric

Mr. Jach,

You are delusional, sir. Cisco wil never drop 50% in one day. Ever. Comparing Cisco to Alcatel is like comparing Jack Daniels to Uncle Ned's OutHouse Sour Mash.

We respect your opinions, and you actually make decent points on occasion, but comments like that make you look like the family member that people try to hide at all costs. Read what you type before you hit "Submit".

Regards,

G
