(MU) 29 11/16 +1 5/16: Speaking at the Nationsbanc Montgomery Securities conference, memory chip maker says that it has been able to raise its chip prices to top PC makers as excess capacity has been whittled down; MU says that it has been able to pass on higher 64-megabit memory prices to tier one accounts from $7.60 to $8.00; company also interested in getting involved in the memory module business due to much more attractive margins
