the intent is to find stocks that have set up a formation which generally preceeds a strong move up or down. Basically it is a trigger to volatility. I have not looked at the results much, just relying on TA of S&C rags quality of content. They say it often leads to strong moves so, hey, I gotta believe em til I check it out for myself.
