Does anyone think the gap strategy is best avoided on options expiration days, when stock prices are under the unique pressure of option expiration price points?

I note that your buy points for INTC (83 1/4) and LU (73 3/4) would have been triggered by now.

Just curious .. .

Friday's Gap Wrap:

Frenetic, aggravating day.

Friday's sell triggers in every thing but INTC went off and then reversed all morning long. I got eight (!) sell signals and tried two reversals which resulted in flat trades before I decided to quit hitting myself over the head.

MRK finally turned around near noon, this time I waited for it to clear 133 3/8, which had turned it around twice. Bought at 133 1/2 and cleared 1 point out of what turned out to be a 2 1/2 point reversal. Bought PFE at the same time, expecting it follow, but that resulted in another flat trade.

Netted a little less than 1/2 after commission costs.
