How much would they have to exceed .32 for the stock to reach $50

before the impending LARGER market collapse?

Agree 100% on SAP.

Did you have a chance to read the San Francisco material David Harker posted on the IBM board? It is very significant for vendors like JDE who live on AS400. The Austin MN software group at IBM can execute. There is a much bigger consulting org at IBM that does AS400 work than JDE can muster. And IBM certainly has relationships with Price, Anderson, etc. who would love to do an IBM app suite.

Now, this stuff is also probably 12-24 months out, but after the millenium, this could put the lid on JDEC (IMO).

It would be directly portable to AIX (and any other UNIX OS with a JVM as well...)

Wizard,

My beer bet appears in jeopardy, not to mention my short position.

Saw an article in Computerworld that for the first time mentions JD Edwards in the same paragraph as the ERP big boys.

They are gaining mind share, the name of the game.

All I can hope is that they gain enough mind share that they trade like PSFT, ORCL, SAP and BAANF have in the past several months and get clobbered. They are moving against the trend, but are being included in the same ranks. Good trick.

What kind of beer would you like so I can make sure to have it on hand? You may win this week!
