Ratan: Oh yes I know of Dr.Ravi Batra,he is an economics professor at SMU (Southern Methodist University)in Dallas though I don't agree with what he has to say in general. He did get his 15 min of 'fame' back when he published the book you speak of as he was on all the TV talk shows.I don't know much about his prediction about India. Actually we had a discussion here on the thread about him a while back between Worswick (who used to frequent the thread a while back) and I and I did post various URLs about him and his book etc.
