AFTER MICRON, NEC RAISE PRICES:

Under the program, NEC said it will slash fixed costs, excluding labor
costs, by 10%, raise prices of 64-megabit dynamic random access memory
(DRAM) chips by 10%, dismantle chip manufacturing facilities at one of
its domestic chip plants
and reorganize overseas chip manufacturing plants.
