What kind of a reply is that? My observation was that this thread was killed by a few sanctimonious asses who thought that they could post their personal (not investment-related) opinions and still expect the thread to remain focused on matters financial -- an expectation that is, not to put too fine a point to it, just plain asinine.

Dipy.

supporting you.<<

kirk, you didn't support a person, you supported a concept. you did the right thing and shouldn't let dipy's views change supporting a free expression (agree and especially disagree!) concept.

i, personally, get offended when the heat is on someone and they start throwing stones in every direction they can in an attempt to divert attention away from what they've done. we all do dumb stuff, we ought to realize it and we ought to say we're wrong with "but, but, buts."

bill's "legally accurate" ongoing lies and his attempts to tarnish everyone else and his public display of swaggartian proportions is causing my cynisism (sp?) meter to hit code red.

in any case, that is my view, right or wrong. dipy kind of waffles on clinton and so he may agree or not agree. he does have a point about monica being the scheming type and little miss innocent, but i COULDN'T CARE LESS ABOUT MONICA. i do care very much about the man that i pay and support to run this country. dipy's priorities are a little out of whack, imho.

but, he should always have the right to say them and i''l support that (though i may argue vehemently if i disagree ;-)

good luck.

ps - james' post about cutting investment at major corporations is not the kind of news that all time highs are made of, imho.
