That's true, but I think VLSI is undervalued relative to it's sales, future earnings estimates, probable future growth rate, cash, and other assets. It is simply down with the rest of the sector. VLSI has always been more volatile than most other semiconductor stocks. Add in Beyer's departure and it really doesn't surprise me that the stock has underperformed the SOX. One thing that I can say with confidence: if LSI rallies, VLSI will too over time.

Thanks for your comments on the other stuff but it doesn't make me want to sell my stock. I have heard both positive and negative comments about VLSI employees and their management. You'll find that at nearly every company. The one exception might be Hewlett-Packard.
