TO ALL:

On September 16, 1998, representatives of Global Platinum + Gold, Inc. met with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, Enforcement Division, to discuss a solution to a "Notice of Violation" filed by the Department on September 4, 1998, with regards to the alleged discharge of water from the millsite without an "Aquifer Protection Permit". The meeting was very cordial in nature and it was determined that if Global could assure the Department that no discharge of water would occur, that Global could continue its current operations, and that the Department would remove the Notice of Violation.

It is now incumbent upon Global to submit a plan to the Department that will demonstrate what will likely be a "closed system" that will not allow any discharge of water used in the milling and leaching operations of the Company; rather the same will stored in tanks and recycled. The Company expects to submit this plan to the Department within the next few days, and it is not anticipated at the present time the Company will lose any significant production time. The company will also immediately undertake to commence the application procedure for a Permit.

You shall be informed as to progress.
