Paul - I remember reading that Lucent is the #2 producer of DSPs right behind Texas Instruments. Their DSPs have many applications other than telecom.

Thread - When I see the recent price action on Xylan, it makes me think that most of the recent drop in Nortel is not specific to Nortel but is caused by the telecom equipment sector being spooked by the Alcatel and TLab announcements. Right now, I don't think there is anything significant out there we don't know about right now. Just my opinion.
