Eric,

If CSCO goes to 50 (three times forward earnings, a very fair price to pay), I will be buying with both hands. Regarding further meltdowns in world markets: at least to me, all the bad news seems to be out and factored in.

This will just create incredible bargains that only happen once in a generation!

I keep hearing that with the market corrections we are experiencing "incredible bargains that only happen once in a generation!" However, last December I bought Cisco for a split adjusted $32/share. Four years ago, I bought CPQ for a split adjusted $7/share. My point is that in the technology area, incredible bargains appear every year (or at least every few years) if your timing is good. I'm getting a little tired of this idea that to buy in now is one's "only chance". My experience is that the tech sector has periods of being "oversold" and "overbought" EVERY year, not just this year.

Dude,
You are around. Did you sell your Cisco because you thought that the fundamentals are strong.
