dj, 64 mb being $8 is OLD NEWS NOW BEING REPORTED. hello???? in fact, i thought it was $10 - that is what the media has been saying.

compared to recent news, $8 looks bad.

dj--

bedard is merely reiterating what AICE has told us for weeks. at any rate, MUs contract pricing is still much lower than spot and apparently has been for a while. this isnt a good sign.

let me clue you in on something...whether you want to listen or not...they cant raise prices that high on contract. if they do the manufacturers go to another supplier, and all the production starts coming back online. i respect you as someone who is fairly rational, but you are a moron if you think DRAM prices are going up ALONG with an increase in memory per PC. IT ISNT GOING TO HAPPEN. kipp is blowing smoke up your ass. as prices increase, the increases in DRAM per PC will slow dramatically.

good luck to all,
trey

DJ
Today's San Jose Newspaper dropped 64MB SDRAM PC100 from
$84 to $83. Wonder if Micron is being creative here ?
