I have two buy points for APCO. One, a successful retest of a magnet uptrend line currently in the upper 5s. Two, a break and hold of the magnet downtrend currently in the 7.625 area. A buy at the current levels puts one in the upper range of that area. A buyer would be bullish on the stock to step in here. I am bullish on the stock. It is the market I am concerned with over the short term. Therefore I am holding off til one of the two criteria is met and I can buy near a support level.

Don - APCO,

APCO does not have enough options outstanding to be influenced by the expiration date. I just bought back into the APR 7.5's. They were a little more than I wanted to spend but you get what you pay for. If you think about the length of time with these calls you realize how cheap they are. A run to 8 gives me a very nice return.

PS I apologize in advance. Last time I bought calls the stock was at 6 and dropped to 5. Of course there was a happy ending.
