Steve,

Statistically the end of month/quarter window dressing normally starts on the last 2 days of the month and lasts a total of 4-6 days. Am aware of actual studies made on that specific topic.

Thats not to say it could not start earlier, just stating statistics.

INDEX UPDATE
-------------------

Right now the TICK is up 200 and the DOW still down 35. This is actually a negative in the market which could continue into Monday.

Right now everytime the TICK moves down smoothly, a small buy program steps in. I presume is a buy program if the TICK moves up 300+ points in about 5 minutes.

I am concluding that it is not the small investor that is buying to move the tick up that amount in a short period of time.

Just checked again and the TICK is up about 400 points in only 3 minutes, dont think its any of us small guys.

Dont look at the absolute number of the tick but how much the DOW moves in reference to the tick move. If this negativity continues on Monday, we could really have a strong down day.
