Total republicanBS.

If Clinton threw himself on the not so tender mercies of the congress he would be deadmeat.

He has apologized to the American people, he has been humiliated, he has been punished in a manner unseen in the history of the presidency. But it is still not enough for his bloodthirsty enemies.

It would be totally inappropriate for him to drop his legal defenses and he and his family would be slaughtered unmercifully if he did.
He has a reasonable defense to any perjury charges and his actions appear to support his notion sexual relations.

He should not abandon the presidency to the whims and narrow moral code of the congress. This would undermine the constitution and permit them to blackmail the executive branch in the future.
