That is not the only reason WebTV will fail. If anyone has ever saw a live demo of WebTV, the resolution is terrible (mainly because the TV resolution doesnt even come close to Computer Monitor resolution). Our local Telco provider tried WebTV here 2 years ago. It was a big failure. So this is not a big surprise. I am shocked that MSFT - in all their wisdom could not put 2 and 2 together. They are the ones that keep predicting that most homes will have low cost computers - similar to everyone having a VCR or Microwave. So why did they think people would want WebTV if it works better and is much more useful on the homePC? DUHHHHH Toy
