Dennis,
I'm a little less bearish than that. I'm looking for 7600, which would establish a higher low. I think that the NYSE BP upturn certainly warrants some optimism:-). If it goes to 7500, I would start worrying about JF's numbers. Until then I will look for the DJIA to stay in a trading range in a slow upward trend. Assuming that 7600 holds, I'll look for 8150/8200 on the next reversal up. Since the market seems to be oscillating pretty quickly in the uptrending 450/500pt trading range, I'm finding it an effective guideline. A break out of the trading range will change my tactics.
