I am glad someone remembers what I said. <g>

I also indicated, at the time, that the (immediate) post-listing performance of SAP would to a large extent depend upon the macro-environment, and we have had the worst set of scenarios re. that in addition to the highly unfavorable timing factor (September/October being the most stormy season for the stock market).

Whether to hold SAP or short is a highly individual matter, depending upon one's time horizon, resources and temperament. I don't disagree with Warren Buffet that market like this offers great opportunities.

I bought a partial position in SAP near it's high. I decided that overall market conditions might be adverse in the near term and would wait until after earnings to add. I agree with much of your assessment and look forward to earnings and willingly will pay a few dollars more per share.
