Glenn -

Perhaps because the market is dominated by middle-aged men who like to "poke around on the electronic marketplace" in lieu of having a life who are (predictably) oblivious to the possibility that they do not represent the majority of shoppers.

Very good article - also agree strongly with the point that it is comparison shopping and targeted announcements of specials that will be the strength of internet retail - much to the annoyance of those who want to get away with higher prices, lower quality, or less service. Shoppers will not flock to the prime unreal estate sites for any other reason than value for money.

The online "experience" at NZMA will be worth a premium? Only if they gets into VR XXX porn sales.

e.b.

BTW, did you see the piece yesterday on Reel.com actually making money on their video sales by using their partnership with Hollywood Video brick and mortar stores to sell used copies of Titanic? Someone has actually got their thinking cap on!
