John, Sorry to glom on to your post , it was just the last one. Just wanted to say that the senate missed by THREE votes having enough to override Clintons veto of the ban on partial- birth abortion. Even the pro-choice happy AMA said there are NO womens health concerns in this issue. As soon as I find who voted which way I will post it here. If YOUR congressman voted to keep this procedure legal, SEND HIM HOME at the election booth. MAKE HIM UNEMPLOYED by a nation who cares for children. Clinton has vetoed this bill voted on and approved by the congress TWICE.. Now do you believe he knows better than the congressman who voted on it????? Pray that God will remove this blight..... dan

John I have tried to be courteous to you and you get nastier and nastier in your false accusation nd statements about what I said. This is my last time to post to you except to ridicule your ignorance and an Ego that doesn''t want to admit when its wrong. I have no doctrine. God has laws and you may know a few but you sure lack the basics of spiritual law. I would like for you to prove the efficacy of your doctrine, Gather a dozen (not just 2 or more) and pray to Jesus that all the hospitals will cure their patients overnight with no more pain or open wounds. Your bible says you can. Love thy neighbor more than thyself and give me all all your money so I can buy a van to ride in. God will reward you in your heaven for this kind deed. Pray God with that group that all churches will agree on what is truth and meld into one giant church telling only truth. When you show me that possibly I will demonstrate something to your pleasure. Until then shut up about what you know nothing. There is a definite difference in people on the path as to how faar they have travelled.

Jumpin John, I hope you dont mind if I jump in. AS you know, I dont believe in the devil, or any supernatural evil. I dont believe Sam is a pawn of the devil, nor do I believe he believes in witchcraft. My own personal beliefs are probably closer to Sams than they are to chrisitianity. the exception is that I dont think the church is evil, or that people who practice christianity are gullible fools. I personally know many people who practice christianity, and do it in a such a loving, spiritual way, with such contentment that I believe they are on a path to enlightenment. I also think there are other paths. My own path is probably closer to Sams, as I think our souls are a piece, or a part, or an aspect of god. I am not sure which would describe it better, and am not sure the verbiage is all that important anyway. I do we believe that aspect of divinity within ourselves is what creates an interconnectedness between us. I also believe that we come back many times until we get it right. I think getting it right is about getting to a point where you fully realize and live like there is nothing except love and compassion. I personally dont think God gives a hoot what you call him and how you call him, as long as you realize the conection with him, and try to progress to the point where that aspect of divinity called your soul can totally and completely reunite with him. Maybe you call that new age, or maybe you call that something else, but ultimately whatever it is called is just a label. the point where I disagree with Sam is the point where name calling and disparaging remarks come in. Not that it isnt two sided many of times, but you have to expect that if you want to tel millions of people that they are following a fairy tale in his opinion. I guess what I am saying is that I believe there are many paths to enlightenment, and that sincere beliefs and attempts to reach that path, if practiced with love, tolerance and compassion, will get you a long way. Now I have to go because Shirley MacLaine just astral projected into my living room and shes knocking over all my crystals and pyramids:-) Mark
